Frequently Asked Questions
Any books in "good" used condition are acceptable. Most used books will fall into this category. A "good" book will not have any of the following issues:
- Damaged bindings
- Missing covers
- Water damage
- Missing components (CDs, Online Access)
- Excessive writing/highlighting
Most "well used" books still have value, just not as much. When your book arrives, we will review it. If any of the above issues are found, we will pay you a generous percentage of the quoted used price. If you have a question regarding the condition of your book, feel free to contact us.
Unfortunately, we cannnot accept the following:
- Counterfeit textbooks
- International editions
- Annotated instructor's editions
- Free (or complementary) copies
- Professional copies
- Review copies
- Books missing pages
- Workbooks with more than 5 pages of answers filled in
Note: Please check your textbooks for
black tape. This is often used to cover up the fact that the book is actually an instructor's edition.
We will pay you via check or Paypal (you choose when you finalize your order) within 7 days of processing your order.
We do! Every buyback within the United States gets a FREE USPS shipping label.
For single books, we suggest a padded envelope (usually available at the Post Office).
Do NOT use a USPS Priority Shipping box or envelope. The Postal Service charges extra to ship these boxes. If you do ship using a Priority Mail box or envelope, the additional shipping cost will be deducted from your order along with $5 per box for processing.
For multiple books, we suggest a small box with enough padding/packing materials to keep the books from moving around in the box.
Sometimes prices can change on a daily basis. Quotes displayed on the site will be locked in for 48 hours as soon as you submit your order.
You must ship all books within 48 hours of order sumbmission to guarantee the quoted price.
Books not shipped within 48 hours may be subject to price adjustments.
Each book has a different quantity limit. If you have more than the limit for any given title, please
contact us for a bulk quote.
Unfortunately, we can only accept U.S. student editions.
